UBS, Morgan Stanley use TV, film to target athlete-entertainers for wealth business
UBS and Morgan Stanley, two wirehouses with divisions catering to the famous and athletic, are coming to TV and movie screens in a growing bid for attention from diverse potential clients.
On Sept. 13, UBS launched a new television show in collaboration with PlayersTV called “Long Game,” discussing legacy planning with megastar athletes. Athletes featured include the NBA’s Damian Lillard, baseball hall-of-famer Ken Griffey Jr., and former No. 1 WNBA pick Nneka Ogwumike. Former NFL player Wale Ogunleye hosted.
