Mural Arts Project Announces New Mural on South Street!

Our client, the South Street Headhouse District is going to have another beautiful mural on display this Fall. Last week during a press conference held on 6th and South Streets, the Mural Arts Project was pleased to announce the location for their new mural project that will feature music group, The Roots!

The Roots were very passionate about having the mural be painted on South Street, since this was the foundation of where the band’s history began. Along with a new mural, the Mural Arts Project will also premiere “Roots 101″, which will be a city wide art education initiative for youth that will have a curriculum  for paint days and pop up studios. The new mural will be expected to premiere in October 2012. We must say, we cannot wait!
