Get ready to MOVE with the GrassROOTS Concert Tonight!
It is no doubt that Philadelphia loves The Roots! Tonight, Tariq “Black Thought” Trotter will be hosting “Let’s Move It Philly!” a charity concert that will benefit the GrassROOTS Community Foundation. “Let’s Move It Philly!” is working to spread awareness about the growing obesity problem in undeserved communities. The evening will have performances by Trotter and Ahmir “Questlove” Thompson as well as DJ Rick Medina, DJ Diamond Kuts, Nikki Jean and Money Making Jam Boys.
The event begins at 8pm at Sigma Sound Studios, located at 212 N. 12th Street.
