Skai Blue Media propelled Marley from a young girl with a vision very much ahead of her time, into a national and international inspiration. Her story reads very much like one of the books she helps connects to her peers, and SBM facilitated the launch of her tale by developing memorable campaigns such as the #1000BlackGirlBooks.

Through every page of Marley’s story, we wanted to ensure we established and maintained her position as a social activist. SBM understood the potential volume of her brand, and sought out organizations that otherwise may not think of an 11 year old as an influencer. Her speaking opportunities at the White House United State of Women Summit, the Teaching and Learning Conference, and United Nations Girl Up Summit were executed in accordance with SBM deliberately bringing Marley closer to her ultimate goal.

Marley was also chosen as one of BET’s three M.A.D. Girls at Black Girls Rock! Partnerships with major education and publishing companies were formed and SBM acted as a liaison between Marley and these partners.

From other details like her visual aesthetic, to arranging public appearances and interviews on outlets including Ellen, The Today Show, CBS This Morning, and Charlie Rose, SBM was the author of Marley’s entire leap into mainstream recognition. Staying true to Marley’s personality, depth and the message she is pushing, we conceptualized a unique strategy to combine her natural gifts into a powerful brand.
